John S. Daly

Mr. Daly is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Future Ireland Fund and a Board member of Ireland’s National Treasury Management Agency. He is also Co-Founder of 25madison, a venture studio focused on incubating early-stage companies and venture capital investing.

Mr. Daly is the former Chairman of Global Equity Capital Markets at Goldman Sachs, where he spent 32 years. During his tenure, he led the Americas Equity Capital Markets Group, co-led the Asia ex-Japan Equity Capital Markets Group, and held senior positions in the Financing Group in Hong Kong and New York. He also served on the Firmwide Commitments Committee and the Investment Banking Division Americas Operating Committee. Before joining Goldman Sachs, he worked as an engineer at GE.

Mr. Daly serves on Trinity College Dublin’s Provost’s Council and the Board of TMRW Sports, parent company of the technology-enabled professional golf league TGL. He is also a member of the Strategic Advisory Board of Veriten, a research and strategy firm focused on the long-term energy outlook and its implications.

Mr. Daly earned a BAI in mechanical engineering and a BA in mathematics from Trinity College Dublin. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
