We are charting the path to a future free from Parkinson’s. Your support will get us there.

In this video, Rachel Dolhun, MD, DipABLM, movement disorders neurologist, lifestyle medicine physician and principal medical advisor at The Michael J. Fox Foundation, speaks with two guests on different aspects of how communication changes when someone is living with Parkinson’s. First, she talks with speech-language pathologist Alexandria Wynter Russell, MS, CCC-SLP, about tools and strategies to support voice, speech, memory and thinking in Parkinson’s. She then joins Bradley McDaniels, PhD, CRC, rehabilitation counselor and associate professor at the University of North Texas, for a conversation on the broader impact of Parkinson’s on communication and strategies to foster connection.
