A New Goal: $41 Million for Parkinson's Research

This summer, Team Human Powered Potential — a group of four men, including one living with Parkinson's disease — rowed 2,800 miles across the Pacific Ocean in 41 days. Our community rallied around their epic journey and met our initial goal: $28 million raised, supported by a 3:1 match.

But we're not done yet! Inspired by your response and the rowers' resolve and commitment to the cause, the 3:1 match has been extended. Our new target, inspired by one of the rowers' 13-year-old son, is to raise $41 million in honor of Team Human Powered Potential's 41 days at sea.

With your help, we can continue this momentum and meet our most ambitious fundraising goal yet.

Every $1 raised turns into $4 to power Parkinson's research. Are you in?

Our goal: $41,000,000
Raised to date (including match): $40,660,003
With this 3:1 match, every dollar has 4X the impact.

    Meet the Rowers

On June 8, Team Human Powered Potential — Patrick Morrissey, Brendan Cusick, Peter Durso and Scott Forman — embarked on a journey from Monterey, California to Kauai, Hawaii to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's research. The team, including one member living with Parkinson's (Patrick), rowed 24 hours a day — in intervals of two hours on, two hours off — for a total of 41 days, reaching their destination on July 19.

Their 2,800-mile journey inspired our Summer Challenge and surpassed $28 million in funds raised.
