Meredith Tutterow is the Chief Commercial Officer for CURiO Brands, a Private Equity-backed fragrance company. Under Meredith’s leadership of the marketing, sales, design & innovation, and ecommerce teams, CURiO’s iconic brands Capri Blue and Thymes doubled their revenue and tripled their profit in just over three years.
Prior to joining CURiO, Meredith was the Vice President of consumer marketing for Michael Foods, a division of Post Holdings. Earlier, she marketed and led P&Ls for brands such as Cheerios, Pillsbury and Yoplait at General Mills.
Meredith is active in community leadership, serving as Vice Chair of the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. She also mentors start-ups through the Techstars Farm to Fork accelerator and serves on the advisory board of Pear Commerce, a privately-held software company. Since 2011, she has led Team Merrie Miles, which has raised over $250,000 for The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF), in memory of her mother, Merrie Boone. She has also been a member of the MJFF Foundation Leadership Council since 2018.
Meredith earned her MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and her BA from Davidson College. Along with her husband, Sam, and their three teenagers, she lives in Edina, Minnesota.
The Leadership Council members are advisors and ambassadors to the Foundation providing leadership, financial support and strategic insight about how we can more effectively advance progress toward a cure.
