Michael Kaplan is co-founder and chief executive officer of Fashion To Figure (FTF), an on-trend plus size fashion company for today's modern curvy woman, built on the premise that, "Fashion is a state of mind, not a size range."
FTF operates online at fashiontofigure.com, in its own retail stores across the United States, third-party online marketplaces, traditional wholesale partners and newer subscription businesses.
Michael and his brother Nick founded FTF to be the premier full-fashion shopping experience, a premise originally created more than 120 years ago by their great-grandmother, Lena Bryant and her namesake company still widely recognized today. He previously served as a venture capitalist with RRE Ventures and as a financial analyst at Lazard Frères in New York
Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors for Dress for Success and The Lost Explorer and is a graduate of Harvard Business School, Brown University and Manhattan School of Music.
