Richard Fitzgerald is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of CapitalSpring, a New York-based private equity and debt investment firm.
Prior to forming CapitalSpring, he worked in private equity managing the acquisition, oversight and divestment of private businesses for investments sponsored by Ardshiel and GE Asset Management. Richard began his career in the investment banking division of CIBC Oppenheimer & Co.
He currently serves on the Leadership Council for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research and on the Advisory Board and Endowment Investment Committee for Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, TN.
Richard earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Trinity College.
The Leadership Council members are advisors and ambassadors to the Foundation providing leadership, financial support and strategic insight about how we can more effectively advance progress toward a cure.
