A Behind the Scenes Look: A Day in the Life of the Fox Foundation

Each day, staff at The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) pursue a cure for Parkinson's disease while supporting the needs of patients and families. In A Day in the Life of the Fox Foundation, directed by Nelle Fortenberry, Michael J. Fox’s longtime producing partner and MJFF Board member, we take you behind the scenes during one day of work in 2022 and show you how our work on that day came to fruition that year.

Since opening our doors in 2000, our staff has worked diligently to help identify, fund and nurture the best Parkinson's science that will have the greatest impact on people and families touched by the disease. Now, MJFF has funded more than $2 billion in research globally, and MJFF’s staff is made up of more than 300 people partnering with the Parkinson’s community to put an end to the disease for good.

Alongside our supporters, advocates and champions, we are moving the dial on a cure for Parkinson’s. Thanks for your continued passion and commitment to this cause. We won’t stop until we finish the job once and for all.

We will continue to build on the work seen in this film this April, Parkinson’s Awareness Month, a time for the worldwide Parkinson’s community to come together to turn awareness into action. Whether you’re donating to speed promising research or spreading awareness, there’s a way for everyone to make an impact. Click here to learn more about how you can make an impact
