Ludmila  Buzhansky received her PhD at Tel Aviv University in 2002. She possesses 15+ years of unique experience in academic and industrial sectors in the field of drug discovery. She specializes in translating R&D strategy into innovative programs and partnerships, and she is skilled at establishing scientific partnerships, developing collaboration programs and implementing complex multidisciplinary tasks and practical level execution. She initiated and led projects in early stage drug discovery, bio-nanotechnology tool application and chemical and biology sensing and drug delivery essential for reliable transition of prototype technology from research to commercial use. She currently serves as a managing director in the BLAVATNIK CENTER for Drug Discovery at Tel Aviv University, where she established a track record in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams to discover novel candidates for various therapeutic areas. She has several high-impact publications and has managed key groups of scientific consortia.
