Eunyong Park, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Structural biology at University of California, Berkeley. He received his PhD in biochemistry at Harvard University with Dr. Tom Rapoport and post-doctoral training in structural biology and biophysics at Rockefeller University with Dr. Roderick MacKinnon. Since joining the faculty at UC Berkeley in 2018, his research has focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of biogenesis and quality control of eukaryotic membrane-bound organelles, such as mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum, using biochemical and structural approaches. Eunyong Park has received a Vallee Scholars Award in 2018 and Pew Biomedical Scholars Award in 2020.
