Dr. Marcus M. Unger obtained his MD from the University of Ulm, Germany and completed neurology residency training at the Department of Neurology at Philipps University Marburg, Germany, a Centre of Excellence of the US National Parkinson Foundation. Dr. Unger is an investigator for several therapeutic and diagnostic trials in Parkinson's disease (PD) and is currently a senior physician at the Department of Neurology at Saarland University, Germany. Dr. Unger's research interests focus on gastrointestinal dysfunction in PD.
