Dr. Nur Diana Anuar is an early career researcher and currently the senior scientist at Sengenics. She obtained her PhD in medical sciences specializing in chromatin and transcriptional regulation from John Curtin School of Medical Research, Australian National University, under the supervision of Dr. Tatiana Soboleva and Prof. David Tremethick. After her thesis submission in 2018, she continued to work with the Tremethick group as a research officer to further test their hypotheses arising at the end of her PhD project (particularly on neurological impairment following the depletion of certain proteins) for publication and grant application purposes. Her thesis was nominated for an Outstanding Thesis Award and she was featured in the university graduation webpage. Dr. Anuar aims to leverage her skills and network to expand her scientific career and to empower young women to pursue science.
