
Maggie joined The Michael J. Fox Foundation in June 2013 and leads a team focused on gathering and sharing patient insights and inputs to advance patient-centered research and speed study recruitment.
As head of patient engagement, Maggie leads strategy to build learnings and resources that advance patients as partners in research. Her team funds initiatives, pilots programs, and engages the community toward more meaningful, accessible, and inclusive studies. These efforts serve our Foundation's mission of realizing new treatments and cures for all.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Maggie worked in communications and patient recruitment at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center and the National Human Genome Research Institute, part of the NIH.
Maggie studied journalism and public health at the University of Maryland. She works remotely from Corning, New York.
