
Patrick Morrissey is a professional engineer, former NCAA Division 1 wrestler and lifelong multisport athlete.
Patrick was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s in 2019 at the age of 48. In 2024, he retired as the President/COO of GF Properties Group. He is a Professional Engineer, former NCAA Division 1 wrestler and lifelong multisport athlete. He is now a part of Team Human Powered Potential (HPP), a group of four lifelong athletes. In the Summer of 2024, the team rowed the mid-Pacific Ocean, 2800 miles from Monterey Bay, CA to Hanalei Bay, Kauai, HI in 41 days as part of the World's Toughest Row. Patrick became the first person diagnosed with Parkinson's disease to row the mid-Pacific. HPP raised over $41 million for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. HPP is determined to continue their mission to help find a cure for Parkinson’s disease by performing or supporting adventure philanthropy.
Patrick lives with his wife of 30 years, Dena, in Durango, CO and they have two wonderful adult daughters, Lauran and Mara.
