An Inside Look at Our Redesigned Educational Resources

Our redesigned look for The MJFF Parkisnon's Webinar and podcast series.

Starting in July, The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s (MJFF) award-winning multimedia resources will debut a refreshed look and feel. The updated design will enhance our community’s experience, making it easier and more intuitive to navigate and engage with the Foundation’s educational podcast and webinar series. The new design brings an improved experience for patients, families, researchers and industry partners to better connect new and returning visitors with critical information on living with Parkinson’s and opportunities to get involved in the Foundation’s mission to eliminate Parkinson’s disease (PD).

“We’re seeing extraordinary momentum in Parkinson’s research, and this redesign reflects our commitment to making trusted, high-quality information easier than ever to access,” said Allison Boiles, MJFF vice president of communications. “Our free resources do more than just educate — they create onramps to action, helping people and families living with Parkinson’s connect directly to the research, tools and opportunities that can make a difference. By putting the latest information on research and care at people’s fingertips, we’re inviting the community to engage with us and help accelerate progress.”

Visit MJFF’s educational resources this summer for new improvements and features, including:

A redesigned and newly named webinar series

  • The Foundation’s live webinar series, formerly known as the “Third Thursdays Webinar,” features experts discussing PD and MJFF’s efforts to accelerate scientific breakthroughs. Beginning in July, the series will continue to deliver the same engaging content, now with a new name: “The MJFF Parkinson’s Webinar.”
  • The webinar platform experience will also be upgraded with an optimized layout to improve navigation and engagement for users.

New sounds on our Ask the MD content and podcast

  • MJFF’s flagship educational video series, Ask the MD, featuring Rachel Dolhun, MD, DipABLM, will debut updated visuals, including new animations and graphics. The series will also open with a refreshed intro featuring Dr. Dolhun and a short animation.
  • MJFF’s podcast features conversations with scientists, doctors, and people and families living with Parkinson’s about daily life with the disease and the latest research toward treatment breakthroughs. In July, the podcast will debut a refreshed opening and closing segment, along with updated music.

A brand-new look

While the branding and presentation of these resources will be refreshed, the same trusted, educational content will remain available – continuing to serve as a reliable resource for the Parkinson’s community. These updates are designed to improve accessibility and ease of use, making it simpler for our community to engage with this critical information. The Foundation remains committed to providing accessible, trustworthy content that supports people and families living with Parkinson’s.
