Dr. Aleksandar Videnovic is a Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, Chief of the Division of Sleep Neurology at Mass General Brigham (MGB), and Director of the MGH Program on Sleep, Circadian Biology, and Neurodegeneration. Dr. Videnovic has devoted his research to the interface of sleep, circadian biology, and brain health, biomarker discovery in neurodegenerative disorders, and the development of new therapies for neurological disorders. He directs the clinical/research program on REM Sleep Behavior Disorder (RBD) at MGH and leads the Recruitment, Education, and Outreach Core for the North American Prodromal Synucleinopathy RBD Consortium. He is a Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for the Gut-Brain Communication in Parkinson’s Disease Consortium and has served on the Executive Steering Committee for the Parkinson’s Progression Markers Initiative for the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and as Co-PI at the Clinical Coordination Center for the NeuroNEXT Network for Neuroscience Clinical Trials.
