Daniel J. Keeley obtained his B.S (2003) and M.Eng (2004) in Biological Engineering from Cornell University. Keeley’s graduate work focused on the mechanics of implantable biomaterials. While completing his thesis he assisted in teaching classes in pharmacokinetics as well as mass and heat transfer in biological systems.
Keeley has worked on variety of products in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine since joining the Johnson & Johnson family of companies in 2005. Most recently his professional work has focused on therapeutic drug delivery, specifically predicting and controlling convection enhanced delivery in the brain. He has filed a number of patent applications related to the direct infusion of therapeutics into brain tissue.
