Dr. Taylor received her BSc degree from the University of Leicester and her PhD in virology from the University of London. From 1988 – 2002 she worked in the field of antiviral drug discovery in the academic, biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Since 2002 Dr. Taylor has been working for Medical Research Council Technology Centre for Therapeutics Discovery, which conducts drug discovery projects for a variety of therapeutic indications in collaboration with academic scientists, and partners lead compounds that are developed with industry. Dr. Taylor is currently manager of the Compound Profiling & Cellular Pharmacology Group.
