Kathy Dujardin, PhD

Kathy Dujardin is professor of clinical neuroscience at the University of Lille and is one of the heads of the movement disorders department at the Lille University Medical Center. Her work is focused on the cognitive and behavioral functions of the basal ganglia. She has clinical and research expertise on cognitive dysfunctions in Parkinson's disease and other basal ganglia disorders. More recently, she conducted work on apathy in patients with Parkinson's disease. She also participated in clinical trials for treatment of cognitive and affective disorders in Parkinson's disease. She has been principal investigator on grants from France Parkinson and co-investigator in studies funded by the French government, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research and industry-sponsored studies. She has been member of the Movement Disorders Society task force on the assessment of apathy, anhedonia and anxiety in Parkinson's disease. She is author of about 80 journal articles and book chapters.
