Peter S. Whitton obtained his BS from the Central London Polytechnic in 1981. After that he joined the Rudjer Boskovic Institute as a Postgraduate Research Assistant in Zagreb, Croatia. He then went to do an MS in Pharmacology at the University of Strathclyde. In 1987, Dr. Whitton was awarded a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow. He then took a Postdoctoral Research position at The Institute of Neurology, University College London (UCL). Dr. Whitton is currently a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology at The School of Pharmacy where he is currently conducting research on the therapeutic effect of peptides in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
