Zhicheng (Carl) Lin earned his PhD in the Department of Microbiology at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington, in 1995. Carl was an IRTA Fellow from 1995 to 1996 and then a Senior Research Fellow from 1997 to 2004 at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIH) Intramural Research Program. After one year of research at the New England Primate Research Center of Harvard Medical School in Southborough, Massachusetts, Dr. Lin joined the Center for Neuroregeneration Research at McLean Hospital in 2006.
Dr. Lin has worked on the molecular neuropharmacology and human genetics of the dopamine system for twelve years, publishing 28 articles. His current research interests include pharmacogenetics and genomics of dopamine-related brain disorders.
