The cancer drug nilotinib repurposed for Parkinson's disease has been closely watched by the patient community. The NILO-PD study -- led by Northwestern University and funded by The Michael J. Fox Foundation -- has found no clinically meaningful benefit or biological effect in people with Parkinson's disease.
