Nanna Møller Jensen, MSc, PhD

Postdoc at Aarhus University
Location: Aarhus Denmark

Nanna Møller Jensen is a postdoc in the laboratory of Prof Poul Henning Jensen at DANDRITE, Aarhus University, Denmark. Her research centers on investigating the early pathophysiological processes in Parkinson’s disease and related disorders, using post-mortem human tissue and various in vivo and ex vivo models of disease. Dr. Jensen’s main focus is currently on early non-inclusion aggregates of alpha-synuclein, investigating these using the novel proximity ligation assays she has developed. The value of her research has already been acknowledged by her receipt of the Danish Parkinson Association’s Young Researcher Award (2024) and an AD/PD Junior Faculty Award (2025).
