Dr. Or Perlman is an Assistant Professor at the School of Biomedical Engineering and Sagol School of Neuroscience at Tel Aviv University, Israel, where he established the Molecular MRI and Translational Machine Intelligence (MOMENTUM) lab. He obtained his BSc (Cum Laude) and MSc (Cum Laude) from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, and his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Before joining Tel Aviv University, he was a Marie Sklodowska Curie Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr Perlman’s lab investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying brain disease and develops methods for early detection and treatment optimization. Perlman’s research was recognized by several international awards and scholarships, including the Krill Prize for Excellence in Scientific Research by the Wolf Foundation.
