Dr. Ruth Schneider is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Rochester. Her research focuses on developing digital tools to measure disease progression, designing decentralized research studies, investigating the neuropsychiatric features of Parkinson’s disease, and understanding the natural history of LRRK2 Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Schneider’s work is driven by a long-term goal: to enhance the early identification of individuals at risk for or in the early stages of Parkinson’s disease, and to delay both disease onset and progression in order to reduce suffering and improve quality of life.
