    Learning Objectives

    At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:

    1. List the symptoms of hypotension in Parkinson's disease (PD).
    2. Recognize the causes of hypotension in PD.
    3. Discuss nonpharmacological and pharmacological strategies for managing hypotension in PD.
    4. Describe how hypertension also might play a role in Parkinson's disease.
    5. Summarize the STEADY-PD III trial, which is evaluating an antihypertensive drug for potential disease-modifying effects in Parkinson’s disease.

    This educational activity is designed for primary care physicians, family practice physicians, general medicine physicians, geriatricians, general neurologists, movement disorder specialists and any other health care practitioners who manage patients with Parkinson's disease.
